Our unique Skin Assessment and Recommendation System simplifies the skin analysis process by providing a foundation for our students to build critical-thinking skills. The unique process is segmented into four parts what our students learn:
We start by gathering the client information on a client intake form. This will allow us to identify demographic information, client concerns, health history, and lifestyle factors.
During Analyze, we are identifying the skin type/condition(s), contraindications, and Fitzpactrick type. This will allow us to create a summary of the skin analysis.
After the skin analysis summary, we then perform a customized service to address the client’s needs. This would include making informed decisions on products, tools, devices, and an approach that would be utilized for the customized service the client will experience.
Our final step is to Teach the client about the care of their own skin. We recap the service performed, observations made, post-care approach, recommend future treatments and products to use at home. Although this is the last step, we stress the importance of Teach the client.
Our Esthetician classes include MUD’s Exclusive 84-Hour Beauty Essentials Course and Level I Make-up Certification.
