The upcoming Beauty with a Purpose Event on Sun Sep 17 2023 at 09:00 am at Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort (3500 Midwest Rd, Oak Brook, IL) looks to empower Beauty Pros through Education. Earn 6 CE Hours plus 1 Sexual Harassment Required CE Credit Hour. This one-day industry event is packed with influential beauty industry leaders, artists, and brands, joining together to support beauty professionals at all levels of their careers. The event promises to provide you with the tools, guidance, inspiration, knowledge, and motivation needed to succeed at every step of your journey.

Pivot Point Academy – Wahl Barber Academy proudly sponsors a Cosmetology full-tuition scholarship and a Barber full-tuition scholarship to two individuals. This leadership scholarship covers all tuition and registration fees. Not included in this scholarship is the Kit, Education material (digital and/or print), and an iPad (optional to purchase or bring your own device). Minimum requirements to participate exist and is open for new enrollments only.

Criteria to Apply for Scholarship

We are looking for candidates who have the capability and passion to:

• Becoming a contributor to the Beauty Industry going forward.
• Demonstrate high potential for leadership.
• Willing to become a role model for other beauty professionals in the future.
• Demonstrate creativity and be willing to show up.

Scholarship for Barber Program

This scholarship will cover all tuition and registration fees of our Barber Program 1500 clock-hour (full time) at Wahl Barber Academy, 8501 West Higgins Road Suite 110, Chicago, IL 60631. (Schedule: a) Monday to Friday from 8:45 am – 4:45 pm b) Tuesday to Saturday from 8:45 am – 2:15 pm)

Graduation from this program will allow you to take the State exam to become a licensed Barber in the state of Illinois. See what is included in your barber kit (not covered by the scholarship).

Scholarship Cosmetology Program

This scholarship will cover all tuition and registration fees of our Cosmetology Program 1500 clock-hour (full time) at Pivot Point Academy, 144 E Lake St Ste C, Bloomingdale, IL 60108. (Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 am – 4:45 pm)

Graduation from this program will allow you to take the State exam to become a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Illinois. Here is what your cosmetology kit includes (not covered by the scholarship).
