Teach the Next Generation of Barbers, Estheticians, and Hair Stylists as an instructor with our Teacher Training Programs

You’ve spent years honing your craft and working directly with guests as a licensed barber, esthetician, or hairstylist. However, maybe you’re ready to take the next step in your career and you want to share your creative talents with the next generation of beauty professionals. With the Teacher Training Courses offered at Pivot Point Academy in Bloomingdale, IL, you can start your journey towards becoming a leading instructor in your field.
Why Become an Instructor?
Once you’ve reached a certain level in your career, you may have a desire to share your skills and knowledge with others. Perhaps you are even serving as a mentor to younger barbers, estheticians, or stylists in your salon, spa, or shop already, and you want to focus your career on this mentorship role. Becoming a licensed barber, cosmetology or esthetic educator can also provide you with greater career stability and growth opportunities. There are many beauty schools out there, and lots of them are actively seeking licensed, talented instructors who can help develop the next generation of stylists, skincare professionals, and barbers.
You also don’t have to give up the things you love about your current role in the beauty industry to become an instructor. For example, if you are passionate about helping guests feel great about themselves with great services, like a haircut, coloring, facials, you can still look forward to those positive guest interactions while supervising students on the student barber clinic or student salon and spa. However, you’ll also enjoy seeing up-and-coming beauty professionals find their own talents and creative visions as you guide them with the right technical skills and career training.
